My Dad and Brother are Freemasons and after hearing about them going out and spending time together I asked to join, they kept me waiting for 15 months which was frustrating however the day I joined I was initiated by my Brother which was very special - joined November 1994
It's difficult to describe what you get – I really enjoy the structure and the ability to progress through the offices while meeting new people and expanding your friendship circles. It's also satisfying to be able to raise money for good causes with like minded people.
Lodge meetings also give you fixed dates to meet and keep in contact with old friends.
