And the ‘pièce de résistance’ of the April 2024 meeting feedback

This evening I was a guest at Military Lodge 1422 where a fantastic historical account was given about some of the members (from Maharajas, to Generals and a Victoria Cross holder) who made up the Lodge’s membership in the 1870s to the Second World War and their achievements. It is delightful to see a Lodge, which in 2022 was on the brink of closure and thinking of handing back its Warrant, become a thriving and revitalised entity full of comradeship and fraternity with over 90+ Freemasons attending the meeting, many of whom served in the armed forces, sporting their medals and berets, and dining on a traditional Indian menu at the Festive Board.
