Described as in superb condition the price was listed as £2,950 excluding delivery charges.

Sir Phillip Colville Smith, CVO, Grand Secretary (1917–1937) was the Grand Secretary, or Chief Executive, of the United Grand Lodge of England, the governing body of Freemasonry in England. He was a member of The Old Ellesmerian Lodge No. 5368.

Sir Philip passed away on the 5th November 1937, at the Royal Masonic Hospital, Ravenscourt Park, Middlesex, England, aged 75 years, and was buried at the Brookwood Cemetery, Brookwood, Surrey.
