More October meeting feedback

  • A magnificent meeting and Festive Board. So much thought and preparation was clearly evident and as our DPGM so rightly commented, it shows what can be achieved with application and dedication. Our Worshipful Master can be very proud of his tenure as he has created an environment that so many wish to be a part of. I’ve loved every minute and as has also been said by many others, the original nine members of Beauchamp Military Lodge 1422 (prior to its reinvigoration) can be justly proud for keeping this Lodge alive. Simply a superb Lodge with Officers and associated personnel, doing incredible jobs. Thank you all 👏👏👏👍
  • I think that the bar staff deserve a round of applause and definitely our thanks. To serve 95 men in those conditions and with a shortage of some of the drinks on the list needed patience and I’m sure at times tolerance, they were fantastic. I also thought the caterer, chef and waitresses actually performed miracles the meal was superb and served hot which as I say was miraculous. I was also surprised at how easy it was to get out of the car park, so huge congratulations.
  • Good morning. Have to say I absolutely enjoyed the evening. It was especially good to see so many Brothers and meet them. A fantastic night and the hard work to ensure it goes with such success is admiral. Thank you. Bro xxxxxx is a lovely young man and has a good future within the Order, one of which I believe will be so positive and good for the lodge. On a personel note I am so glad that coming to the lodge has reaffirmed my reasons for becoming a Mason and I too look forward to helping and supporting as well as learning more to enhance my Masonic Journey. A note on Friday. I found the tribute to the Falklands war and in particular Mush and Denzil very moving and one of which I extend my personel thanks. It was indeed a period that has changed mine and many others lives. Again thank you for a wonderful night and I look forward to my future with you all.

And the ‘pièce de résistance’ of the October meeting feedback

Many congratulations to all of the members of Beauchamp Lodge for a truly memorable meeting yesterday. The planning, organisation and execution was exemplary and I feel honoured to have been given the opportunity to be part of it - thank you.

The whole event was very impressive, from the parking through to the Festive Board and the mass exodus - nothing was left to chance.

In forty years of Masonic meetings, and I’ve been to a few, Friday 27th October at Beauchamp Lodge will live on in my memory with such events as the Tercentenary celebrations at the Royal Albert Hall - truly epic.
My very best wishes to all of the Lodge members, may Lodge No 1422 go on from strength to strength.
