Joining members7 - The West Kent Military Lodge is extremely pleased to announce that at the October 2024 Lodge meeting 3 joining members were balloted for and all three ballots proved successful. Two of these joining members are ex-forces, 1 x Royal Signals and 1 x Honorable Artillery Company all three were subsequently welcomed into the Lodge by the Worshipful Master and issued with a copy of the Lodge by-laws.

Unfortunately the candidate for initiation was unable to attend the October meeting on the night due to personal circumstances and so will be initiated at a future meeting.

In addition to the above 3 further joining members’ details were read out in open lodge with a view to them being balloted for at the January Installation meeting.

An application form for a joining member was received on the night of the October meeting and this form will be placed with 3 other joining members’ forms for reading out in open lodge at the January meeting.

We also have a number of additional expressions of interest to join our Lodge from ex-serving personnel (11 in total) and a possibility of 5 candidates for initiation). It is hoped to covert these expressions of interest over the next two seasons.

As January 2025 is a year that the Beauchamp Lodge will celebrate 50 years of being at the Wilmington Masonic Hall it is hoped that in that year we will also celebrate 50 subscribing members.
