Support Our Paras Charity - West Kent Lodges are showing fantastic support for the Support Our Paras Charity.

The Borough of Woolwich Lodge No. 6610 has led the way with an incredible donation of £1,000 following a presentation from V W Bro Mark Eyles-Thomas titled, "The Falklands War, my experiences".

Mark was a member of the 3rd Battalion the Parachute Regiment during the campaign and fought on Mount Longdon his platoon Sergeant (Ian McKay) being posthumously awarded a Victoria Cross.

The Ordnance Lodge No. 2399, who had some of their Lodge members in attendance at the presentation, also made an amazing donation to the charity of £1,000. Mark has agreed to undertake a presentation at the Ordnance Lodge at their February 2024 meeting.
