On Monday 25th September the West Kent Military Lodge (Beauchamp Lodge #1422), and its guests, visited the HAC (Honourable Artillery Company).
The afternoon once again started with a guided tour of the HAC Armoury, where we were shown, by our host Chris Huxtable, the body armour worn and the weaponry carried by the Pikemen and Musketeers.

We even managed a quick tour of the HAC museum

And the Treasury to view the family silver

And finally the medal room

Before returning to the Sutling Room for refreshments.

At 5pm we were invited to join the brethren of the FitzRoy Lodge #569 to witness the installation of their new Master. Another incredible ceremony conducted to a very high standard, congratulations to everyone involved. It was also wonderful to greet the Grand Secretary, Adrian Marsh.

After the meeting we repaired to the Sutling Room for further refreshments before heading off to the Long Room and the Festive Board.

The evening was enjoyed by all attending and considered a huge success and we look forward to further visits with this wonderful Lodge in the future.
