Part 7 Orders - The October meeting of the Beauchamp Lodge will shortly be upon us, “Who calls the Tiger?” and we have an extremely entertaining evening lined up.
We have a full platform of Lodge business to get through including; a ballot for an amendment to our Lodge By-Laws, 3 new joining members to ballot for (all of who will be joining the Lodge in January) and a 5 further joining member’s details to read out. The main agenda item is a presentation from V W Bro Mark Eyles-Thomas, whom will be taking us through his personal experiences of the Falklands War in 1982. In addition author Peter Cartwright will be in attendance to sign copies of his book, “Kent Brethren and the Great War”, copies of which will be available for purchase on the night (£10).
The Festive Board will have a Remembrance theme and, as we remember those that have made the ultimate sacrifice for King and Country, we are asking all those in attendance to sacrifice their starter (a small gesture of sacrifice by all present) in aid of the Master’s chosen Charity for the evening, ‘Support Our Paras’. The meal price will remain the same at £25 per head but the costs of the starter ingredients will be donated by everyone to this chosen charity in line with the evening’s presentation.
Thank you for being a part of this collaborative donation and, as we aim to raise £1,000 for the Support Our Paras charity on the night, your sacrifice will go some way in helping us achieve this target.
We may also have a surprise or two up our sleeve for you all, but more about later - remember, ‘Keep it under your hat, as careless talk costs lives’.
Part 7 Orders - Please be reminded that there has been huge interest in attending this meeting and the Lodge Room at Wilmington can only hold a certain number of Brethren. With this in mind please book early to avoid any disappointment. Should numbers exceed capacity a reserve list will be operated.

Part 7 Orders continued - The bar will be fully stocked with; Wines, Spirits, and Beers (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beers) and our bar staff will provide you with a seamless, memorable and pleasurable drinking experience - please remember this is a cash bar.
